Established in 1914 – The University of Western Australia Tennis Club Inc., is the oldest sports club affiliated with UWA.

At it's headquarters in the western suburbs of Perth, at McGillivray Sports Park, we are the largest (European) red clay court facility in Australia.   During 2009 the UWATC has hosted both the National 12’s and 14’s clay court championships.

McGillivray Sports Park is flanked by Challenge Stadium (home to two world swimming championships), the new State Athletic Centre and, completing in 2010, the new State Basketball Stadium.  The sports park also caters for hockey, rugby, Australian football, soccer, athletics, baseball etc.

UWATC has recently built a modern 21st century club house.  All facilities are available, including change rooms with all conveniences.  The club house overlooks the exhibition courts, and nestles in a natural bushland setting just minutes from the Perth CBD.

14 clay courts and 6 grass courts are available.

Membership covers the full spectrum of age groups. Beginners in the 5 – 10 year old group are catered for by enthusiastic professional coaches.  Junior pennants competition is available for 12 year olds and up.  For adults there are programs for beginners, housewives and for more serious pennant players.  The club also supports Seniors (35 – 59’s) and Super Seniors (over 60’s).
